I Am the Ohr!

This powerful message challenges us to embrace our identity as carriers of God's light in a world desperately searching for hope. Drawing from Genesis 1:1-4, we're reminded that God's first creative act was to speak light into darkness, and remarkably, that light intermingled with darkness before separation occurred. This reveals a profound truth: we're not called to isolate ourselves from those in darkness, but to intentionally bring God's light into dark places. The Hebrew word 'Ohr' meaning 'light of God' becomes our identity marker. We obtain this light through two essential pathways: accepting Jesus as our Savior and consistently ingesting God's Word, both logos (scripture) and rhema (personalized revelation). The message confronts religious spirits that keep us from engaging with the lost, reminding us that Jesus himself ate with sinners. We're called to be strategic like snipers, entering dark spaces with purpose, dropping seeds of light, and trusting the Holy Spirit to complete the work. The vivid illustration of Psalms 119:105, where God's Word is a lamp to our feet and light to our path, shows us that we need illumination for both our present steps and our future direction. When we walk into any room, we should bring light that draws the broken, the hurting, and the lost toward hope and healing.
